Thursday Feb 5th

Today was much like any other day. Most of my time is helping students with their math homework. I do enjoy being there to help the kids as much as I can, but it can get boring. In a former life, I was in charge of the day to day opperations of my business, now it is hard to be in charge of anything. We as Para's we don't have much control, and very little respect from some of the students. There are some kids, who feel they can do or say whatever they want when the teacher is out of the room, which leads to the hard part, how as a para do I get control, without making the teacher feel like I am trying to take over authority of the class. There is a fine line I have learned from helping and leading.
